1 year ago....

One year ago.....

I was pregnant for the last time and a mother to only one for the last time..

My second bundle of joy was born at 12:11 p.m. I didn't get to hold her on the first day, but I stayed with her as much as I could and held her hand.

7 lbs 3 ozs, 21.5 inches long

But 2 days later.. I got to hold my sweet girl in my arms.

And, she got to meet her Big Sissy for the first time, if only for a minute. Emma Grace was a little nervous. Mia had an IV and breathing tube.

But after 3 days.. Here she is....

perfect in every way!

Wow, I can't believe she has grown so much. I miss those little days but look forward each day I get to spend with my two girls!

Happy Birthday Sweet Mia!

I can't believe that Mia is already ONE!! What an incredible year - full of fun and surprises! Mia has been a wonderful addition to our family, she completes us!! I love her fun loving smile and giggles, I love her blue eyes and blond hair, I love that she is the best sleeper in the world, I love that she has such a strong will (I know I'll hate this in another year :) I love that she squeals every time she sees big sissy. I love that she is a momma's girl (most of the time -LOL), I love that she LOVES spending time in Alabama with GG and Papa, Aunts and cousins. I love how she crinkles her little nose. I love how she crawls with one leg straight. I love how she hums as I sing to her. I love how she loves her baby dolls. Guess I just love everything about her. Reminds me of the line from "Where the Wild Things Are", I Love You So, Mia, I could eat you UP!!

Emma Grace gave Mia her very own "Princess Dolls".

So, as I put Mia to bed , I said an extra pray thanking God for my healthy baby girl. Just one year ago today she was fighting to breathe on her own, and look what a perfect little one I have today. What a lucky mommy I am! :)

Disney World Take 2

The Disney World trip was an absolute blast. Emma Grace loved every minute of it. I am only selecting a few pictures, considering I took to the tune of 476. LoL!!! Of course her favorite things were Ariel and the BB Boo Boutique and... Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. While we were in Disney, Mia was in Alabama with GG and Papa getting spoiled beyond rotten!!! She had a great time and didn't even want to leave Memie and Papa when we met them in Atlanta at the airport. My advice, Take your babies to Disney, it's worth every dime to see their little face light up when they see "Cinderella's Castle" or their favorite charater for the first time:)

Emma Grace, we love you , and are so glad we got to experience this magical week with you! We can't wait to take you back again and take Mia along for her first visit!
