Baby Update

Well, Monday is the big day. I went for my last pregnancy check up ever today. And, I wasn't sad at all!!! Things were great. My baby girl has done AWESOME despite the problems we would have encountered. I have learned so much this pregnancy with all the BPPs and stress test I have had. They always are checking her fetal breathing, and apparently my baby girl is doing it all right. I do go back Friday, but it's considered a pre-op appointment. My C-section is scheduled for 11:30 AM Monday so hopefully shortly after noon, I will be holding my second precious baby girl, and hopefully she will have a name. I told Randy, we have held off this long, we can wait till Monday. Yes, I am getting my tubes tied this time around. The doctors suggest I have no more and frankly I think two kids is an awesome stopping point. I can't wait to see my two girls grow up together. I know there will be fights and jealously, but seriously if you have a sister, you know the bond! There's nothing like it. If I get new news on Friday, I'll update if not, well, when I recoup I post pics.

At preschool they do a program called "No tears for handwriting" (I think), anyway we had Q-tips out painting on Saturday. Well, Emma Grace started making her letters with them. I looked down and she had made her name. I have taught her how to write letters with a pencil but I am so impressed at the amount of things she is learning in preschool this year. It's funny how she goes from telling us nothing to showing us all she is really learning.

Well, since it's almost a 100% chance Emma Grace will be in Alabama at Halloween (something that makes me sad), we decided to let Emma Grace dress up in her Cinderlla costume(her picking for Halloween) and go to a CHEEZY Princess Night. She loved it.

Fun Weekend!

We had a pretty exciting weekend! Saturday morning we took Emma Grace to the "Big Sister" class at the hospital. She loved it. They gave them baby dolls and showed them how to hold them, diaper, feed and swaddle the babies. She was such a big girl. Answering questions and totally into the whole process. We also got to tour the hospital, so she got to see the babies and hospital room. It was pretty funny, when we got to the hospital room, she said, "daddy I am gonna stay with you!". After our exciting morning at the hospital we did some last minute baby item shopping and then EG and Daddy made special birthday cupcakes for me. EG loved spreading the icing (eating too) and took about 30 minutes applying sprinkles. Which of course landed mostly on the floor!

Pumpkin Patch

Since D day is quickly approaching we decided to go to the pumpkin patch the first weekend this year. Of course it didn't feel like fall outside at all, but we still enjoyed the day. Emma Grace enjoyed herself so much that she took a 3 hour nap afterwards, this is something that doesn't happen in our house much anymore.

So, obviously this isn't at the Pumpkin Patch. But, we are so proud of EG, she can ride her bike! She pointed out to us that it has 3 wheels on the back and only 1 on the front. She can't go for too long, her legs get tired!

Kailey and Emma Grace. Poor Kailey, EG is so used to hugging on Olivia that she doesn't have much hope!

Emma Grace quickly picked a pumpkin this year. She was afraid the tractor and trailer were going to leave us. So opposite from last year, when we spent forever in the field hunting the smallest pumpkin there!
